About

"I seek to escape the ordinary and create a working day that fits the life I feel brings success, both privately and as a designer”

Lise Skovgaard Jewellery was officially founded in 2019, but my journey into the world of jewelry began long before that.

I grew up surrounded by craftsmanship and tradition—my mother, aunt, and grandfather each owned a jewellery store in the outskirts of Copenhagen. From an early age, I spent countless hours in their shops, observing customers, trying on antique gold jewellery that had been sold, and collecting lost scraps from the floor. I was fascinated by the history and deep sentimental value that jewelry holds. But more than anything, I quickly realized that my true passion lay in creating jewelry with my own hands.

In 2020, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Jewellery, Technology, and Business from the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology. Since then, I have worked tirelessly to build a work-life balance that brings both personal fulfillment and entrepreneurial success.

As a one-woman business, I embrace creativity as it comes, focusing on crafting only a limited number of each design to keep production low and preserve the uniqueness of every piece. Every item is made from precious metals, entirely by hand, in the workshop called WØN at Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

All jewellery can be made in your size

My mission is to create jewelry for your body—not your gender. I strive to promote equality in jewelry culture by challenging outdated norms about who can wear what and why. Through experimentation with shape, texture, color, and presentation, I seek to redefine the way we experience jewelry.

All genders and bodies are welcome to be part of this universe.

I take a playful and experimental approach to jewelry-making. My collection Melted features one-of-a-kind designs created at the very melting point of precious metals like silver and gold. These fluid, organic forms are paired with rough diamonds and raw rubies, creating a striking contrast between softness and raw beauty.

All inquiries and jewelry dreams are more than welcome—together, we can bring your ideas to life.

I hope you find this design universe intriguing and that it has captured your curiosity.

Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!
